Whoo Whoo!!!!!

Hello, my friends,

Well, I can’t hardly believe it, but in a short time, both Nayara and I will be traveling to the US for a quick 21-day visit.  We will be in Conway, AR from August 16th – August 24th.  We will go to Stillwater, OK August 24th – September 1st and then return to Conway, AR.  We will return to Manacapuru, September 6th.

During our time in the States, we will be meeting with lots of people and talking about the work in Manacapuru.  We are very excited about sharing the many stories about our classes, students, and the future.  We will be speaking several places; in a class at Fellowship Bible along with possibly several groups in Conway.  We will be spending time with the Duggins and Pr Jose and Leoni as well in Arkansas.  When we are in Stillwater, we will be sharing at New Covenant Fellowship on Sunday morning August 26th and in the evening at Hosanna Assembly of God.

We will be having some special meetings while in Stillwater.  On August 28th and 29th at 7pm at New Covenant Fellowship, we will be having a dessert Fellowship time with all who would like to hear about the work in Manacapuru, especially those who have so faithfully given financially.  If you would like to come, please send me an email and I will give you the information.
I am also looking forward to seeing my family and special friends while in Oklahoma.  I can’t wait for Nayara to meet as many of my friends as possible.  This is her first trip to the US and she is thrilled!

The semester ended strong and we are regrouping for starting the classes again in September.  We have had such positive feedback from the students about our new curriculum approach.  It has been wonderful watching them grow in their confidence with speaking English.  We also have had a great training session with the young man who is going to be starting an English class in the city of Anori under the covering of Amazonas.Languages.

Oh, there is so much to share.  I look forward to seeing as many of you as possible while in Stillwater, OK.  For those of you who don’t live near Stillwater, I will be sending you some information.

My heart is full, and I am so blessed.  Thank you for being on the journey with me.  Your faithful prayers and financial support is the reason I can continue to work.  I am so grateful for you!  See you soon!
